The system didn’t capture my answers correctly
If Ace hasn’t captured your work accurately, check the following:
Legibility – make sure your writing is neat and in pen
Question labelling – ensure each question is clearly labeled as shown in the assessment
Scans/photos – make sure your submission is clear, correctly oriented, and fully visible (no parts of your work are cut off)
Next steps:
If the problem is likely caused by one of the above issues, fix it and submit another attempt.
If it doesn’t seem to be any of these, submit feedback through Ace. Click the ⋮ next to the question and select 🚩report issue. We won’t investigate individual submissions, but we will review feedback to identify and fix any systemic issues.
Why doesn’t the mathematical notation / LaTeX render match my submission?
Ace tries to digitise and display all mathematical symbols correctly, but some complex formulas or notation may not appear exactly as written.
This should not affect grading, your submission should still be assessed correctly.
If you notice a consistent rendering issue, submit feedback by clicking the ⋮ next to the question and selecting 🚩report issue.
The grading is incorrect
This can happen for a few reasons:
Issues with your submission (legibility, question labelling, or scan quality).
Limitations of the AI grading system, which may sometimes produce incorrect feedback
Next steps:
Review the official memo (which can be accessed via the menu on the bottom right of your screen) to assess if there is a grading issue
Report the issue by clicking on the ⋮ next to the question and select 🚩report issue. We won’t investigate individual submissions, but we will review feedback to identify and fix any systemic issues.
